It was the best of times . . . . .

They say love is blind but marriage is a real eye opener.
Jared and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary on the 28th.
Holy moly, when did I get old?  But seriously I can't
imagine what I would do without him.  I know I complain a lot and
make rude remarks, but I couldn't have asked for a better guy.
"He completes me." (I'm tons of fun and he's no fun at all) j/k ;)
I'm so glad we are on this journey together.  Love you Jared!
Mmmmmmmmmooaww!

"What do I do, what do I do?"

Before I get started I just want to preface by saying that I'm not complaining, just stating facts. Yesterday was a crazy and sad day, I had the uh . . . . . privilege of watching 4 of my nieces and nephews and of course Bronson too ~ so 5 kids 5 and under.  I've always been a girl who has wanted a big family, like 4 being the minimum, but after yesterday I'm thinking maybe I'm not meant to be a mom of a large family ~ maybe 2 is just what we need.  Sadly they weren't really doing anything too terrible I'm just realizing that my patience some days is in the negative range. So that would be the crazy part, the sad part is that Bronson's diarrhea has not gone away yet and yesterday it got much worse - with a hot red bum to accompany his misery.  He had about 8 dirty diapers, that alone is a tragedy because he hates getting his diaper changed but when you add a very sore bum, let's just say he wasn't the only one crying.  I had the bright idea last night to just rinse him off in the sink instead of wiping.  So we get the temp just right and I tap the faucet a little so the pressure isn't so high and begin to use the little sprayer on him.  All of the sudden he lets out a shrill scream and his little bum cheeks go very tight.  I couldn't figure out what was wrong.  So I stopped spraying him only to realize the water was scalding hot.  What!?  We just had it barely luke warm, and I sprayed it on his already very red and sore bum.  AHHHHHHHHH!  Michelle what is wrong with you?  It reminded me of the time I clipped of the tip of his finger when I was trying to cut his fingernails.  As we were trying to figure out how it happened Jared informs me that your hose will hold the water from the previous time you've used it.  Oh man, I'm so dumb, and my poor little boy has to suffer because of it.  Anyway as we've had to change quite a few diapers I've come up with something that needs to be invented, a misting spray bottle for diaper rash ointment.  Anyway hopefully this will pass very soon, red bums are no fun and I have enough guilt to last me a life time.
(so much for being the super mom type ~ big sigh :o)

"and now, the News!"

Michelle had her 27 week aptmt. yesterday and passed her glucose and
iron test.  Phew!  Bronson was a good boy as we waited with aunt Cami
for almost an hour (again).  No pics this time, as the baby with no
name was hiding his face from the camera.  He is doing very well
weighing in at almost 3 lbs.  His mother however has gained a total of
14 and with 13 weeks to go she is praying she can keep it around 25.
She really doesn't want to exceed her delivery weight with Bronson
when she gained 40 lbs. YIKES!
~In other news the sunsets over the Great Salt Lake continue to be very
beautiful, currently with no smog.  This was Wedenesday night.
~Bronson (and I) are recovering well.  He is now sleeping through the
night again, and his fever is gone.
~New studies have found that extra caution should be taken
while sweeping the floor, as it may be hazardous to your health.
~Commuters need to be watchful of speeding toddlers on the interstate,
and their dogs who are always close behind.
~The solution for childhood obesity has been solved at the Buckley
household as Bronson's food rarely makes it to his mouth.
~Climbing and sliding have become some of Bronson's  favorite
pass times. Aas well as rearranging Christmas ornaments, teasing
Simba, looking at himself in the handle of the bathtub, and imitating
barn animals.
~Getting a little bored?  Try a flashlight and a laundry basket.  A great
idea for free entertainment in this struggling economy.

Come What May and Love It!

"The next time you’re tempted to groan, you might try to laugh instead. It will extend your life and make the lives of all those around you more enjoyable."

So sorry for groaning, I'll do better.  What a guy!

Ugh . . . .

Thanksgiving weekend at a glance:
Awful runny nose
temps from 101-103
tummy aches
diarrhea
no appetite
No Sleep
lots of tylenol
lots of kleenex
lots crying
& a priesthood blessing
~Poor little baby.  Doc says stomach flu, contagious for 7-10 days.
7 to 10 days!  It's only been about 2 1/2 so far and I already feel like
I'm at the end of my rope.
continued . . . . .
Cramping Stomach
sore back
no sleep
lots of holding Bronson (which isn't very easy with this belly of mine)
anemia
almost blacking out at Wal-mart
crying, clingy baby
and did I mention no sleep
~It's a good thing you all know how thankful I am because I wouldn't
want you to think I was complaining.  ;)  So let's hope Bronson gets
feeling better soon so this second little guy doesn't seem like such
an impossible task.  Phew!
