May Days

Steph and I had a fun adventure taking the kids to the Aquarium in Sandy. It was pretty neat, kinda far, but pretty neat. Bronson gets kinda scared when he's up close with animals. He did okay and some parts and others he was climbing up my head or hiding in the stroller.
On Jared's birthday I kidnapped him from work and we went to lunch at Robintino's, then found a little place in Bountiful that makes Hawaiian shaved ice, Mmmmmm! It wasn't quiet the same when you are shivering to eat it but it was still pretty good. I'm sure we'll be back. It was nice to have a little break together without the boys. That night got a little crazy so it didn't go quite as planned but it was fun being together. Levi helped me make a cake and Bronson helped put on the candles as well as blow them out. I love his smile at the end of the birthday video. On Friday we went to Outback with Buckley's and afterward Grandma and Grandpa came over to check out Bronson's new "scooer" which he absolutely loves! He has quiet the technique in his riding.
Bronson and Levi have both loved playing with the birthday balloons. On Jared's birthday we had some balloons float up into the vault of the ceiling so Jared got a barstool and lifted Bronson up to reach them. The next morning we had some more get away from us and up the the vault they went. Levi went over to the barstool, pushed it over to the back wall and was pointing up to the balloons. He's getting pretty smart and after a few weeks of taking a few steps at a time he has gotten much better. He can usually make it across the room, as long as there aren't any distractions or toys (or big brothers in his way). I still need to video him walking, I'll be sure to get on that.

Jared and I have ordered bikes and a trailer for the boys and I'm getting so excited. Finding time and energy to exercise is not an easy task for me so hopefully this will help, and hopefully I'll run a 10K before the end of June. (I'll keep my fingers crossed for that one) So there is a little more of what's been going on in May. One more thing - last Saturday I quit facebook and I've also drastically changed my blogging network. Yes, I'm going through withdrawls and wanting to change my mind, hopefully with a little more time, practice, and help, I can get used to this.

mothers day snap shots

On Saturday we had a fun picnic at Grandma and Grandpa's. Although Mother's Day isn't much of a holiday for mother's we had a very nice weekend. Sunday we Buckley's over and had a nice dinner and visit, but I didn't do a good job at taking pics. I'll just say that we love our Grandma's, they mean the world to us. I think Abraham Lincoln said in best when he said, "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."

Wedding Day

It's official, there's not a Hardy girl left in the bunch. Matt and Cami were sealed this Friday. It was a great day! I was hoping to be able to take lots and lots of pics of everyone and everything, but when you have FREEZING kids and one very very TIRED baby . . . . . well you know how it is. So in case you haven't gotten your tulip fix this spring this may help. I think the pic of the day has to go to sleeping Levi bug. He was sound asleep within two minutes of getting in the car, Bronson soon followed with his traditional blanket over the head technique. Anyway, we are so excited for Cami and Matt and wish them the very best.
