This past weekend was Levi's blessing. I was very excited that he still fit into his blessing outfit that was intended for a month earlier. We waited for Jared's brother to be in town, but unfortunately Chad and Melissa were out of town, that's life I guess.
Levi was super cute and we had a great day with family.
I'm glad I took pictures before church because I
completely forgot once everyone got to our house.
Levi was very exhausted and had a good nap when we got home.
Memorial Day was also VERY fun.
Levi and Grandpa Hardy
We had him smiling like crazy but I couldn't seem to catch any of them.
Bronson was super tired after playin' with cousins but
I guess not enough to keep napping once we got home.
We've been looking and debating for a while about
what we should get for our backyard,
since Jared was home Monday we finally made a decision.
I think it was a good one.
Cami came over with Melissa's kids for dinner
and family home evening. Guess what we did for the activity?

With Levi's blessing, Jared has been working very hard on
getting our home top notch. Here's the new stucco,
new little flower bed
tree and garden
I should have taken a picture of the garage too, it's so clean I'm thinking about moving out there. I guess that's one good thing about having everyone over to your house, it makes you do things you would never have done otherwise. Thanks Jared.
Bronson loves anything with a steering wheel, so I figured instead
of buying the whole cake, why not just get the icing.
So come over anytime to climb aboard or take a bounce.
Jared's tip of the day - studs aren't always where they are
supposed to be so if you miss 5 times in a row, it's best to
go where you know there is one for sure.
Okay I'm almost done. Last Saturday we were on our way to Chad and Melissa's for Kody's first birthday. When I got in the car I saw that Bronson was sock and shoeless so I turned to Jared and asked,
"Didn't you get Bronson's shoes?"
"No."
"Well would you go grab his shoes and socks?"
After a minute he comes back out to the car with a box of Kleenex and Bronson's socks.
"What's that?" I ask.
"I thought you said to grab the tissues."
Looks like I shouldn't put off voice therapy any more because people are having a hard time understanding me. Tissues and socks? It reminded me of the time Jared went into Target for me to get a curling iron and came out with a blow dryer. Oh Jared, I still love ya.

It may not be your hearing...Bryan would say Jared is using his "man ears" (a lame excuse not to listen -- also has "man eyes").
Love the steering wheel on he wall and the bounce house. Bronson should be having fun. :)
Levi looks so darn cute. Glad the blessing went well.
Levi was such a good boy on his blessing day, and he looked so dang cute! Yeah I'm glad you took pictures before too, cause I always forget after AND before.
the bounce house looks WAY fun, we'll have to come over...so um, call us sometime. (hint, hint)
LOVE the stucco and the yard! Are you still gonna do the door?
Love the post! levi looked so cute for his blessing.
The house looks gorgeous! Not to mention the cool new toy in the yard. I bet you can't get Bronson to come back inside anymore. good idea also with the steering wheel! maybe i will do the same. The ideas are flowing on what I could paint on the wall behind the steering wheel.
Your house & yard look great. I want to come play on the bouncer! kids have it so good these days. I love Levi's smile- very cute.
Great pictures of little Levi in his blessing outfit. The bounce house looks like a lot of fun! Can we come over and play too? (I wish) I love the steering wheel idea, how cute!
Loved that post!!! My favorite pic is the top one....SO sweet!
I'm not even going to mention the bouncin' fun at your house till we all get rid of our crap! I think my boys are gonna wanna move in! FUN!!!
Your yard and house look great, as always. Come help me with mine, I give up.
hope those cute boys get better soon.
ps he wasn't that off tis-shoes you know.
and where did you get that steering wheel, its awesome!
the steering wheel was 15 bucks at home depot, I've thought about painting something cute around it too, but it would probably resemble a stick figure dash board, if any one has some cute SIMPLE ideas I'd love to hear em.
So cute! I hate all the work to get the house ready for a blessing but enjoy having it all done :)
Levi looks very cute.
I agree with the others...the bounce house would be tons of fun.
You have taken so many great pictures recently! Your boys are darling:)
Your kids are so cute! That is such a funny story about Jared. LOL
Oh, that is a fun post. I don't know what to comment on first. The stearing wheel is such a good idea. Love it.I totally know about the stud finding thing. Scott is always measuring to find one and they are NEVER where he expects. He tries the knocking and listening method but that is shotty too. I wonder if those little stud finders at home depot are any good? Funny about the tissues misunderstanding! Why would you ask for tissues and socks anyway? Silly guy.
By the way, I've been meaning to call you. I've thought about you and your voice at least a dozen times since you first posted about it. Have you had your thyroid checked recently? Having voice problems is a sign of an enlarged thyroid. check out webmd.com. Something to check out before you go to voice therapy. Thyroid disorder is HUGE in my family.
