some of it's weather, some of it's not.
First up, the stucco mistake - When we originally chose our stucco we were wanting the trim to be a few shades darker than the main color, what we got instead was two clashing colors (oops). So to take away the bluhness of our exterior we are finally going to paint the trim. What we can't decide now is if we should have a darker or a lighter trim, any suggestions?
Jared has been working hard in his spare time to complete the basement. The bathroom is just about ready for paint. I want to do some colors but can't decide which ones, suggestions?
On Friday we went to Target in hopes for some great pictures of our beautiful babies. This was the only picture worth keeping. Turns out Bronson is afraid of doctors and photographers. Even with Grandma to help he was not about to let go of my neck, and Levi, it was just not his happy time. So thank you Target for absolutely nothing. I'm not that upset about not getting any pictures but when you have to revolve your whole day around it and then ended up empty handed, grrrrr.
So we decided to go out to dinner since we were out anyway. Hmm, won't do that again. Not wanting to have the evening be a total disaster we stopped at A&W for icecream, Mmmmm.
So here are some pics of Levi at his happy time.
what a cutie!
and then there's Bronson
taking pictures of a one year old is not easy, we'll have to try again for a smile.
This morning I laid Bronson in his crib for a nap, it was a little early but I was getting desperate. About two minutes later I hear him knocking on his door. WHAT? Oh no, you're not supposed to be able to do that yet. Well I had Levi in the tub so I figured he'd be okay in there till we finished. Wrong, I open the door to find Bronson holding the glue trap for spiders that was under his dresser, it gets better he was reaching in eating them, Nooooooooo! "Bronson what are you doing that is soooooo yucky!" I must of scared him because he started to cry after that, or he just didn't like the taste of glue and very old dead spider parts. Spiders, dog food, no problem, but dinner forget about it. Someone please explain.
Today's weather, warm and sunny, thank heaven.
One more thing, last week I went and got a free voice screening at clinic in Salt Lake for National Voice Day. I saw a story on the news about voice disorders and it caught my attention. Anyone who has heard me talk over the last 5 months knows why. When I was pregnant my voice came down with . . . . . .uh . . . . . teenage boy syndrome. It is constantly cracking and I'm never sure what sound is going to come out. People are always asking me if I'm sick or just woke up, and I always have to repeat myself, it has been very annoying and incredibly embarrassing. Turns out my vocal chords are just fine but for some reason the muscles in my neck are "playing tug of war" says the doc, and they should be totally relaxed while talking. She recommend voice therapy, like physical therapy except for my voice. She said I should be good as new after 4 or 5 sessions. Jared thinks it's all a little fruity and apparently he doesn't mind having a wife that sounds like a frog, but I can't take it any more so we'll see how therapy goes.

cute babies.....and my suggestion is light blue for the bathroom with accents of red.
Who needs Target, you are an amazing photographer! Your cute kids help the situation, but still...
voice therapy huh....yea I'm sure geoff would want me to stay a frog too. funny, how bout ya bring those cute kiddos over during your "therapy" We'd love to play!
cute pictures Shell, sorry Target was a flop...been there done that! I don't know what to tell you for stucco colors, but how about a milk chocolate brown for the bathroom! :) You might have it invest in one of those crib tents...definately better than eating spiders! Seriously have the willies right now! YUCK!
I have to agree, your pics are much better than any I ever get from Pennies or Target...I know it is disappointing though.
Your boys are so sweet -- can't believe Bronson is going to nursery. They grow to quick.
first of all, the stucco doesn't look as bad as you think it does.
Second of all, for your bathroom color, pick out a rug, shower curtain or artwork to put in the bathroom that you LOVE then pull a color from that to paint the walls. It will match and you will end up liking the continuity. Make sure you use paint meant for the bathroom though that is anti mold.
Anyway, you have such cute boys that you don't need prof. pictures.
As far as the eating strange things, Jake has started licking the walls for some reason or another. Tyler tells everyone he likes to pick his nose and eat it. Join THE club.
Don't you just love one year olds. Griffy has the cutest smile, but I can't seem to capture it on camera, so I totally know your pain. Your boys are darling. We'll have to walk over and visit one day, now that's it's warm.
Oh, I love those pictures of levi! Sorry Target pics didn't work out. That is frustrating when you plan your whole day around it.
I can't believe he was eating dead spiders!! Little kids are so nutty! I think dark trim on the house would make it pop more, as for the bathroom, I have no idea.
Levi is getting so big so fast! And I can understand about the voice thing. I was just talking to my Jared yesterday about the exact same thing!
You'll have to let me know how the therapy goes and if it works. :)
That's funny about the stucco. I can't tell on my computer that the stucco clashes. I feel so bad about the lame picture day you had. How sad that the kids weren't in the mood. That's a lot of work. I can't believe Bronson ate dead, dried-up spider parts. Yuck! How weird about your voice. That is wierd. What an odd thing to have to get therapy for. :) I'm sure it will help. Good luck. On second thought, you better give us a recording so we can hear how cracky your voice is. You could put in a before and after. :)
