We headed off of another little family adventure to Jackson Hole. We haven't been there in about 10 years or more. The kids had fun, and it was nice to take a break from our everyday.
(but honestly, probably don't care to go back anytime soon - not really a family vacation spot, we did have crumby weather the whole time so that wasn't much help either)
One of the big highlights was the ferry ride across Jenny Lake then the short hike up to hidden falls. The boat driver reminded us that we were in bear country so Bronson had a hard time enjoying the hike, he was very paranoid and ended up turning back with Grandma because he was so worried about the bears. It was a great little hike and Blake loved riding in the backpack.
What's a little wind and rain ?
We found a small window when the slide was dry enough to be open and Bronson had a great time riding up and sliding down. The window wasn't big enough for Levi however, we'll have to try the one in Park City some time.
Hooray for Parks, they were very happy to be able to run around for a bit.
We stayed at the Jackson Hole Lodge - the best part was their brand new pool and hot tub. I think we were able to swim everyday. Poor Jared got fried.
He's not a red neck, he's a brown neck with red shoulders.
Blake doesn't enjoy his carseat very much, thank heavens for naps.
a little out of order, but Jared primed the basement and we are getting close to having it done.
Finishing a basement is one dusty job, hope we never have to do it again.
Bronson lost a tooth on this trip, and has since lost 2 more. He's got quite the smile,
but still so handsome.
ready to slide
It was a nice getaway in beautiful country, we made some fun memories.
